Editor's Note: Former Art. XV, Public Safety Department, as
amended 11-20-1983 by L.L. No. 3-1983, was repealed 12-3-2013 by L.L.
No. 3-2014. This local law also stated that the Department of Public
Safety and the Board of Public Safety were eliminated with their powers
and duties transferred to the Superintendent of Public Works and the
Board of Public Works. See Art. XI.
