Any person who, without lawful authority, causes intentional
injury to, or interferes with the proper recording of a water meter
shall be fined $250.00 for each violation. Said fine is in addition
to the fines and penalties imposed under Massachusetts General Laws,
Chapter 165, Section 11. In addition to such fines, the user of the
affected water service shall pay for an estimated water usage based
on the national average as determined by American Water Works Association
and all labor and materials incurred by the Town in correcting said
injury or interference.
