The definition of the term "road layout" as used by the Board
of Selectmen shall be defined as follows:
The boundaries of a public way, shown on the plan on file with
the Town Clerk, approved and accepted by the Selectmen at a public
hearing and subsequently ratified by Town Meeting. In cases where
there is an insufficient record, the boundaries of a public way as
shown on applicable plans on file at the Barnstable County Registry
of Deeds shall control.
