There is hereby created the office of Zoning Officer for the
Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus.
The Mayor shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the
Council, the Zoning Officer for a term of one year commencing January
1 and terminating December 31 in each year or the unexpired portion
thereof.
The Zoning Officer shall exercise the following powers and duties,
including, but not limited to:

Review and process applications for zoning permits.

Review and issue nonconforming use and structure certifications pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-68.
E.
Receive appeals filed to the Zoning Board of Adjustment pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-72.
F.
Such other powers and duties required under ordinance or at law.
