A. 
Certificate of license. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation, to carry on or work at the business of plumbing or house drainage in said Borough until a license to engage in or to work at said business shall have been granted said person or persons by the Plumbing Inspector and Trainer Borough Council. Any person or persons performing work within the Borough of Trainer must be a master plumber in the Borough of Trainer and must have obtained the Delaware County Municipality Plumbing Council Master Plumber Certification Card and shall register such plumber's certification in a book kept for the purpose, which register shall be open to public inspection, one copy to be sent to the Secretary of Trainer Borough Council, and if after examination is made by the Plumbing Inspector of the person's or persons' credentials and certificates and having been found competent, the person(s) shall be issued either a master plumber or journeyman plumber license which will entitle him or them to engage in or work at the business of plumbing and house drainage. The Plumbing Inspector of the Borough of Trainer reserves the right to cancel or recall any plumber license issued by the Borough of Trainer at any time.
B. 
Applications. Each person or firm desiring to be engaged in or engaging in the business or work of plumbing and house drainage in the said Borough shall apply in writing to the said Plumbing Inspector. A master plumber's license shall be set at $100; a journeyman's license shall be $50.
(1) 
A business or firm cannot be licensed. Each master plumber and journeyman shall be licensed.
(2) 
All licenses shall be issued yearly running from January 1 to December 31 of each year.
(3) 
For any license issued after June 30, the fee will be $100 for a master plumber's license and $50 for a journeyman's license.
C. 
Registration for mechanical, heating and air-conditioning and boiler and sprinkler systems installer and repairman license. A license is required to be issued by the Borough before any person may engage in such work. The license requirements are as follows:
(1) 
Proof of certificates and qualifications.
(2) 
Proof of any and all state or federal certificates.
(3) 
License to run for one year, January 1 to December 31.
(4) 
License fees are set at:
(a) 
Master plumber: $100.
(b) 
Journeyman: $50.
(c) 
Mechanical:

Heating, air conditioning, boiler: $100.
(d) 
Sprinkler system.

Installer and repairman license: $100.
D. 
All persons desiring to be licensed under this section must supply proof to the Borough Secretary and/or Borough Plumbing Inspector, at the time of application and at all times upon request during the effective dates of the subject license, that the person is covered under a policy of liability insurance providing a liability limit of a minimum of $200,000 and, further, that all employees of the business entity performing work at such site are covered under a policy of workers' compensation insurance.

It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation, to carry on or work at the business of building and/or structure construction, alteration or remodeling of any kind or nature in said Borough until a license to engage in or to work at said business shall have been granted said person or persons by the Building Inspector and Trainer Borough Council.
B. 
Applications. Each person or firm desiring to be engaged in or engaging in the business or work of building and/or structure construction, alteration or remodeling of any kind or nature in the said Borough shall apply in writing to the Borough Secretary, who shall provide a copy of such application to the Building Inspector. A license fee of $100 shall accompany the application.
(1) 
Any and all licenses issued hereunder shall be applicable to all employees of the licensee.
(2) 
All licenses shall be issued yearly running from January 1 to December 31 of each year.
C. 
Qualifications/requirements. The fee for each annual license shall be $100. In order to be entitled to a license and to maintain the license as valid during the license period, the applicant/licensee must provide evidence of the following:
(1) 
That the applicant/licensee has any and all required certifications of any kind or nature which may be required by any governmental authority or agency relative to the specific type of work being performed.
(2) 
That the applicant/licensee has successfully completed a course of training/education by an educational entity certified, accredited or otherwise appropriately recognized by any appropriate governmental authority and/or has a minimum of two years of experience in the particular field of work to be performed within the Borough of Trainer.
(3) 
That the applicant/licensee is covered under a policy of liability insurance with a minimum limit of $200,000.
(4) 
That the applicant/licensee is covered under an appropriate workers' compensation insurance policy for any employees of the licensee or any persons working under the licensee.
(5) 
That the applicant/licensee has, where appropriate, plans for the work prepared by a Pennsylvania licensed architect or engineer, as necessary.
A.

It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation, to carry on or work as an electrician and/or to perform electrical work of any kind or nature within the Borough, until a license to engage in or to work at said business shall have been granted said person or persons by the Electrical Inspector and Trainer Borough Council.
B. 
Application. Each person or firm desiring to be engaged in or engaging in the business or work of an electrician or performing any electrical work of any kind or nature within the Borough shall apply in writing to the Borough Secretary and shall provide a copy of such application to the Electrical Inspector. A license fee of $100 shall accompany the application.
(1) 
Any and all licenses issued hereunder shall be applicable only to the individual. No person may engage in electrical work under the license of any other person.
(2) 
All licenses shall be issued yearly running from January 1 to December 31 of each year.
C. 
Qualifications/requirements. In order to be entitled to a license and to maintain the license as valid during the license period, the applicant/licensee must provide evidence of the following:
(1)

Electrical contractor: $100.
(b) 
Chief plant electrician: $100.
(c) 
Oil burner and gas burner service dealer: $100.
(d) 
Refrigeration service dealer: $100.
(e) 
Journeyman electrician: $100.
(f) 
Apprentice electrician: $100.
