A.
The elected office of City Assessor is
hereby abolished effective at the expiration of the term of the City
Assessor last elected in 1990.
B.
Upon expiration of the term of the City
Assessor last elected in 1990, the Mayor, with the consent and approval
of the City Council, shall appoint in April of each year a City Assessor.
C.
The appointed City Assessor shall receive
no fees, compensation, salary or other remuneration for performing
the duties of City Assessor.
