Council hereby adopts the reapportionment plan as set forth herein.
A. 
The reapportioned election districts shall be as follows:
(1) 
District 1: District 1 shall be known as the First Ward of the Borough of Darby and contain that portion of Darby Borough lying north and east of a line drawn down the center of MacDade Boulevard from the Darby Borough border with Collingdale Borough to the Darby Borough border with Yeadon Borough, constituting that portion of Darby Borough contained in Census Tract 4026 of the U.S. Federal Decennial Census 2000 with a population of 3,366 as determined by the 2000 Federal Census.
(2) 
District 2: District 2 shall be known as the Second Ward of the Borough of Darby and contain that portion of the Darby Borough lying south and east of a line drawn down the center of MacDade Boulevard from the Darby Borough border with Collingdale Borough to the Darby Borough border with Yeadon Borough and lying north and west of the CSX-Conrail railroad lines from the border with Collingdale Borough to the Darby Borough border with Yeadon Borough, constituting that portion of Darby Borough contained in Census Tract 4025 of the U.S. Federal Decennial Census 2000 with a population of 3,398 as determined by the 2000 Federal Census.
(3) 
District 3: District 3 shall be known as the Third Ward of the Borough of Darby and contain that portion of Darby Borough lying south and east of the CSX-Conrail railroad lines from the border with Collingdale Borough to the Darby Borough border with Yeadon Borough to the southernmost borders of the Borough, constituting that portion of the Borough contained in Census Tract 4024 of the U.S. Federal Decennial Census 2000 with a population of 3,535 as determined by the 2000 Federal Census.

Attached hereto as Exhibit A is a chart showing the population of the reapportioned districts and their deviation from the average.[1]
