A.
The Water Commission shall consist of no more than four voting members
appointed by the Board of Selectmen and one Board of Selectmen representative.
B.
Members shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen to three-year
staggered terms.
C.
Any member absent from three meetings without notice and cause shall
be replaced.
The functions of the Water Commission shall be as follows:
A.
Advise the Water Department Foreman with respect to all construction,
maintenance, and operation of the Town of Raymond water system.
B.
Recommend overall philosophy and goals of the Water Department.
C.
Recommend a long-range and short-range plan for meeting the goals
of the Department.
D.
Support the Water Department as the need arises at quarterly meetings
or Town Meetings.
E.
Recommend fees and charges to be levied as appropriate.
