The Chief of Police or any person appointed by the Municipal Manager for the purpose shall annually cause a canvass to be made of all dogs owned, kept or harbored within the Township and shall cause a report of the result thereof to be filed with the Township Clerk in the manner and form required by N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.15.[1]

The Chief of Police or any person appointed by the Municipal Manager for the purpose shall cause the provisions of state law relative to dogs to be enforced.
