Persons now holding, or in the future appointed to, the position
of Deputy Receiver of Taxes of the Town of Ossining need not be residents
of the Town of Ossining, provided that such persons are residents
of Westchester County or of an adjoining county within the State of
New York.
To the extent that any provision of this article may be inconsistent
with § 3 of the Public Officers Law of the State of New
York, as to which an exception has already been made by virtue of
Chapter 272 of the Laws of 1998, it is the intent of the Town Board
to supersede that section with this article.
