A.
A police officer must retire from the Clayton Police Department with
at least 30 years of service with the Clayton Police Department.
B.
A retired police officer must obtain a firearm permit within six
months of retirement from the Clayton Police Department before the
officer's final service weapon shall be released to the retired
police officer.
This new article, upon adoption, shall be effective as of January
1, 2023.
