The Highway Superintendent of the Town of Beekman is hereby directed and authorized, upon issuance of a highway permit for any driveway adjoining a Town road of the Town of Beekman, to require from the applicant a deposit to underwrite the completion of proper blacktop apron, appropriate fill and culvert work where necessary.

The amount of said deposit shall be set by the Highway Superintendent according to the extent of the improvements, with a deposit of $900 being contemplated for a routine fifteen-foot apron without culvert.
The deposit shall be held by the Town of Beekman for a specific time period to allow the work to be completed and, upon failure of completion within that time period, will be applied to the actual completion of the work.
