That certain documents, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Code Enforcement Officer and the Borough of Media, being marked and designated as the "BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, Tenth Edition, 1996" as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Prevention Code of the Borough of Media, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 165-53 of this article.
That the following sections are hereby revised as follows:
Section F-101.1. Insert: "Borough of Media."
Section F-107.8 Payment of fees. "Permit fees for all permitted activities shall be $25 each."
A. 
Ordinance No. 609 is preserved in its entirety.
B. 
The BOCA National Fire Prevention Code is adopted as providing rules, regulations and standards in addition to those already provided in Ordinance No. 609. Together, the BOCA Code and Ordinance No. 609 will the constitute the Fire Prevention Code of the Borough of Media. Whenever any conflict exists between Ordinance 609 and the BOCA Code, the stricter standards will prevail.

The limits in Section F-3003.2 of the BOCA National Fire Prevention Code/1996 in which the storage of explosive materials is prohibited are hereby established as follows: The storage of any and all explosive materials is strictly prohibited within the Borough of Media.
