The Village Clerk shall cause to be printed or otherwise reproduced copies of such proposed local law and shall, not later than the day such notice is published as provided in Article I of this chapter, post one such copy, together with the notice of hearing, in a conspicuous place in his or her office and shall also make copies of such proposed local law available at his or her office for inspection by and distribution to any interested person during business hours.
After a public hearing, as provided in Article I of this chapter and upon adoption of a local law by the Board of Trustees, the Village Clerk shall forthwith post a copy thereof in a conspicuous place in his or her office and shall, within 10 days after such adoption, cause the local law or ordinance, or an abstract thereof describing the same in general terms, to be published in the official newspaper of the village.
Proof of posting and publication required by §§ 46-4 and 46-5 hereof shall be filed in the office of the Village Clerk.
