Any person, firm, corporation, etc., or his
or its agent, servant, employee, etc., violating any of the provisions
of this chapter, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined a sum of
not more than $1,000 for each offense, together with costs of prosecution,
or shall be committed to Berks County Prison for a period not to exceed
30 days. Each day or portion thereof that a violation continues shall
constitute a separate violation, if a separate proceeding is instituted
therefor and the violator shall be convicted thereof.
