Borough of Franklin, NJ Chapter 34 Fire Department

§ 34-1 Establishment. [1]

There is within the borough a Fire Department which shall consist of not more than 60 members.

§ 34-2 Membership.

The Fire Department shall consist of the present Fire Department of the borough together with such members as shall hereafter be elected by the Department.

§ 34-3 Rules and regulations.

The Fire Department so created shall adopt rules and regulations which shall be submitted to the Mayor and Council for approval and, when approved by the Mayor and Council, shall govern the department.

§ 34-4 Records and reports.

The Fire Department so created shall keep such records and make such reports as are required by law and shall make reports to the Mayor and Council when requested to do so.
