A. 
Every retail business within the Borough of Oradell shall be closed to the public and business with the public therein shall be and is hereby prohibited after the hour of 11:00 p.m. and before the hour of 6:00 a.m. of any day.
B. 
The provisions of this section shall not apply to bars, taverns and holders of plenary retail distribution licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages in original containers for consumption off the licensed premises, delicatessens, pharmacies, retail establishments selling only perishable foodstuffs, restaurants, the sale of fresh cut or live plants, nail salons, hair salons, pet grooming, veterinary care and primary medical care.

C. 
Gasoline service stations may remain open for business during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sundays, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

A. 
It shall be unlawful to permit the public to remain within any premises used as a retail business between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
B. 
It shall be unlawful to conduct any retail business with the public, with the exceptions set forth herein, on Sundays, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
