There is hereby created in Carneys Point Township
the office of Housing Officer.
The Housing Officer shall be appointed by the
Mayor, by and with the advice of the Township Committee.

The Housing Officer shall have the following
duties:
A.
He shall investigate complaints by landlords and tenants
concerning housing conditions within the Township in conjunction with
the cooperation of the Health Officer.
B.
He shall enforce all existing ordinances containing
provisions pertaining to housing in the Township which, by the terms
of said ordinance, are enforceable by the Building Inspector.
C.
He shall enforce all other ordinances, either presently
existing or hereinafter enacted, containing provisions pertaining
to housing in the Township which are not enforceable by the Office
of Housing and Inspection or by any other Township officer or Township
agency.
