There is hereby established the following charges
for standby fire line and/or sprinkler connections:

These charges to be in lieu of all other charges.
The connections to be used exclusively for fire protection purposes.
Any domestic water lines connected thereto shall be charged for water
usage at the regular metered water rates.
The annual charge herein imposed shall be paid
annually in installments, and as water meter charges are now imposed,
and collected for domestic users of water, and if unpaid shall become
a lien upon the property serviced.
Application must be made to the Borough Water
Department, in writing, for standby water connections, and the applicant
must therein agree that no water will be used from the connection
except for sprinkler service.
