1.

No sewerage from any city, town or village system
of sewerage, or from any private sewer, or from any cottage, hotel,
farmhouse, boardinghouse, camp or other abode, or from any privy,
stable or outbuilding, shall be allowed to enter Lakes Winnipesaukee
or Paugus.
|

|
No person shall discharge from or off a vessel,
cruiser, boat, houseboat, wharf, or from a structure of any kind,
whether on the water or on the ice, or from any tank or receptacle
thereon or therein contained, any excrement or urine into the waters
of Lake Winnipesaukee or Lake Paugus.

No person shall maintain in any boat or structure
on said waters, or on the ice thereof, any privy, or any wastes closet,
tank or receptacle having a fixed discharge below the water line,
or any pump connected therewith to facilitate such wastes discharge
into the water. Provided, that nothing herein shall affect boats or
structures equipped with suitable means for discharging wastes into
a sewer, or other means of land disposal not in violation of these
regulations, and the operators or occupants of which boats or structures
have bona fide arrangements for so doing and do so discharge.

No sewerage or drainage of any kind from any
public building or buildings, and no animal or vegetable matter, or
vehicle containing or having contained the same, and no deleterious
matter of any kind shall be deposited in the water of said lakes,
or upon the banks of said lakes where it may contaminate the waters
of the same.

Any town or city bordering upon the said lakes
shall construct such sewerage systems as may be necessary to relieve
any village or congested sections so that the inhabitants thereof
may comply with these regulations.

|
The local Boards of Health of towns and cities
bordering on the shores of these lakes shall cause printed copies
of these regulations to be posted conspicuously in different parts
of the said towns and cities, and also cause them to be published
in such newspapers as are issued in the said towns and cities bordering
on said lakes, and they shall take such other measures as may be deemed
necessary to advise all owners or occupiers of estates, the drainage
from which may enter said lakes, and all owners of boats upon said
lakes, so that full notice of the provisions of these regulations
shall be had by individuals and the public before the date on which
they take effect.

It is the duty of the local boards of health
of such towns and cities as border on the said lakes to enforce these
regulations.
|

|
The foregoing regulations shall not in any manner
affect the rules and regulations of the State Board of Health for
the protection of the waters of Alton Bay promulgated July 17, 1906.

9.
|
These regulations shall take effect and be in
force on and after January 1, 1909.
|
I hereby certify that the
foregoing rules and regulations were adopted at a regular meeting
of the State Board of Health held at the State House, Concord, the
21st day of June 1907.
|
All horse drawn vehicles on
wheels of over 2 1/2 tons gross weight, and all motor vehicles
of over seven tons gross weight, and all motor vehicles not having
a width of tire on each rear wheel equal or greater than listed below
are prohibited the use of all the state and state-aided highways and
trunk lines within the limits of the city/town of Wolfeboro.

Police, Constables or other
Administrators of the law please notice, and instructions are given
to enforce the provisions of this Act the purpose of which is to protect
the highways during the frost season.
|
"Any person violating the provisions of such
posted rules and regulations shall be fined not more than $100 and
shall be liable for all damage occasioned thereby."
|
EXCEPTION: Parking shall be permitted from the
junction of Route N.H. 109-A extending southerly to the railroad crossing
on the west side of the highway, a distance of approximately 400 feet.
