The following intersections shall be designated as stop intersections, and the appropriate stop signs are authorized to be erected:

Easton Way and Braxton Road T-intersection

The end of Braxton Road entering onto Easton Way and in both directions of Easton Way at the intersection of Braxton Road
Easton Way and Eckert Road T-intersection
The end of Eckert Road entering onto Easton Way and in both directions of Easton Way at the intersection of Eckert Road 3-way stop intersection
Easton Way and Prickett Lane T-intersection
The end of Prickett Lane entering onto Easton Way and in both directions of Easton Way at the intersection of Prickett Lane
Prickett Lane and Easton Way (in the proximity of Creek Road)
Prickett Lane, for vehicles exiting Prickett Lane and entering onto Easton Way
This article shall be subject to compliance with the following terms and conditions as required by N.J.S.A. 39:4-8:
A. 
Certification by the Municipal Engineer that the stop signs have been approved by him after investigation of the circumstances.
B. 
Certification by the Municipal Engineer that the stop intersection designations appear to him to be in the interest of safety and expedition of traffic on the public highways.
C. 
Certification by the Municipal Engineer that the stop intersections conform to the current standards prescribed by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, as adopted by the Commissioner of Transportation.
A certified copy of this adopted article shall be transmitted by the Township Clerk to the Commissioner of Transportation, within 30 days of adoption, together with a copy of the Engineer's certification; a statement of the reasons for the Engineer's decision; detailed information as to the location of the streets, intersections and signs affected by the designation and erection of the stop signs; and related engineering data, if appropriate.
The penalty for any person convicted of a violation of this article shall be in accordance with the provisions of Title 39 in New Jersey Revised Statutes.
This article shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and publication, in accordance with the law, after compliance with the engineering certification requirements set forth herein.
