It is hereby recognized that with regard to Township-owned ponds there is a need for the establishment of regulations with regard to the activities that may be conducted on or in said ponds and the surrounding area thereto in order to properly protect the peace, safety and order of the public.
It shall be prohibited for any person to undertake, participate in or engage in any of the following activities on any Township-owned pond:
A. 
Ice skating after dusk.
B. 
The operation of bicycles, motor vehicles or motorcycles on the surface of a frozen pond.
C. 
The use of alcoholic beverages.
D. 
The playing of hockey or similar games.
E. 
The building of fires.
It shall be prohibited for any person to do, undertake, participate or engage in any of the following activities on Township-owned land adjacent to any Township-owned pond:
A. 
The building of fires.
B. 
The parking of motor vehicles.
C. 
The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall upon conviction thereof be deemed guilty of a Class A violation, punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.
