The code established and adopted by this chapter is the regulations promulgated by the State Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the Realty Improvement Sewerage and Facilities Act (1954), P.L. 1954, Ch. 199, N.J.S.A. 58:11-23 et seq., which regulations are described and commonly known as "Standards for Individual Subsurface Sewage Disposal Systems (1989)" and which are set forth in N.J.A.C. 7:9A-1 et seq., as amended and supplemented.
