The compensation of elected officials of the Village is hereby established as:
A. 
President: $1,200 per month.
B. 
Clerk: $625 per month.
C. 
Treasurer: $200 per month.
D. 
Trustees: $200 per special or regular meeting.
Effective immediately, any compensation of any elected or appointed official shall be paid monthly.
The adoption of this article shall not be construed to effect any suit or proceeding pending in any court or any rights accrued or liability incurred or any cause or causes of action accrued or existing under any act or ordinance hereby repealed in this article; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by the adoption of this article.
