A. The
City Clerk shall charge and receive from the applicant a fee for each
certified copy of the record of any birth, death or marriage and for
each certified copy of the record of paternity acknowledgement issued
by such Clerk. The fees to be collected are as established by the
City Council of the City of Watertown at least annually through a
budget resolution that adopts a City Fees and Charges Schedule as
identified above. Such schedule shall be available to the public at
the office of the Watertown City Clerk. Fees for genealogical searches
shall be as established by the Watertown City Council as set forth
above.

C. No fee
shall be charged for a certification or certified copy of any such
record to be used for school entrance, for employment certificate,
for purposes of public relief or for admission to the Armed Forces
of the United States or when the same is requested by the United States
Census Bureau for use as statistical data or when requested by any
federal, state or municipal department or agency for its official
purpose.

The following fees shall be charged for the following services:
A. Marriage
licenses as established by the City Council of the City of Watertown
at least annually through a budget resolution that adopts a City Fees
and Charges Schedule. Such schedule shall be available to the public
at the office of the Watertown City Clerk.
B. Duplicate
marriage licenses as established by the City Council of the City of
Watertown at least annually through a budget resolution that adopts
a City Fees and Charges Schedule. Such schedule shall be available
to the public at the office of the Watertown City Clerk.
C. Marriage
solemnization (ceremony) as established by the City Council of the
City of Watertown at least annually through a budget resolution that
adopts a City Fees and Charges Schedule. Such schedule shall be available
to the public at the office of the Watertown City Clerk.

A. For each application for Commissioner of Deeds, the
City Clerk shall charge and receive from the applicant the fee as
established by the City Council of the City of Watertown at least
annually through a budget resolution that adopts a City Fees and Charges
Schedule. Such schedule shall be available to the public at the office
of the Watertown City Clerk.

B. This section shall not apply to persons employed by
the City of Watertown using the Commissioner of Deeds in the line
of regular duty.

The City Council has a schedule of fees which applies to various
business permits and licenses, all as established by the City Council
of the City of Watertown at least annually through a budget resolution
that adopts a City Fees and Charges Schedule. Such schedule shall
be available to the public at the office of the Watertown City Clerk.
