Any person found to be violating any provision
of this chapter shall be served by the Superintendent of Public Works
or the Village Engineer with written notice stating the nature of
the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory
correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time
stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
Notwithstanding other applicable provisions
of law:
A. Any owner, lessee, contractor, agent or other person
who shall violate or cause to be violated any provision of this chapter
shall thereby be guilty of a violation and, on conviction, shall be
subject to a fine of not over $250 for each such violation or imprisonment
for up to 15 days, or both.

B. If any said owner, lessee, contractor, agent or other person fails to abate any said violation of this chapter within the period of time stated in the notice referred to in §
115-80 of this article, said person shall be subject to a civil penalty of $250 for each and every day that said violation continues, recoverable by suit brought by the Village and to be retained by it.
C. Any violation of this chapter may also be enjoined
pursuant to law.
D. The remedies provided for herein shall be cumulative
and shall be in addition to any other remedies provided by law.
Any person violating any of the provisions of
this chapter shall become liable to the Village for any expense, loss
or damage occasioned the Village by reason of such violation.
