A.
Traffic regulations. A violation of any provision of Article II of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 for a first violation and by a fine of not more than $300 or imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, for each subsequent violation.
B.
General parking regulations. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, a violation of any provision of Article III of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 for a first violation and of not more than $300 for each subsequent violation. A violation of § 290-19 or 290-24 shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $250 and not more than $300 or by imprisonment for not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
C.
Restricted parking. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, a violation of any provision of Article IV, V or VII of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $20 and not more than $150. A violation of Article VI shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25 and not more than $100. Parking in the parking area in Waterfront Park without displaying one of the permits provided in § 290-27 shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25.
