Fees for admission to and use of the Catasauqua Municipal Swimming Pool shall be as set from time to time by resolution of Borough Council.

The following rules and regulations for patrons and users of the Catasauqua Municipal Swimming Pool shall take effect immediately:
A. 
No refunds or rainchecks will be issued if the pool closes before the scheduled time or if a patron is asked to leave the facility.
B. 
Absolutely no diving anywhere in the pool.
C. 
No running or pushing on the deck.
D. 
No jumping from the peninsula.
E. 
Lap swimmers only in the lap area.
F. 
Appropriate bathing attire required in all areas of the pool.
G. 
No regular diapers are permitted in the pool. Appropriate protection, such as "Little Swimmers," must be worn. The pool must be emptied after "accidents" to clean and ensure sanitary swimming conditions as determined by the pool manager, often one hour or longer. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave.
H. 
Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed.
I. 
Appropriate behavior is required in all areas of the pool.
J. 
No toys in the pool.
K. 
Sponge or air-filled beach balls are allowed between the two divider ropes, and only if their use is not disruptive to other bathers' enjoyment of the pool.
L. 
All children under seven must be accompanied by an adult or properly supervised at all times when in or around the pool.
M. 
No hanging on the divider ropes.
N. 
No profanity.
O. 
No spitting.
P. 
If the air temperature is 69° or lower at 5:00 p.m., or if at 6:00 p.m. the lack of attendance warrants, the pool may be closed at the manager's discretion.
Q. 
Food- and drink-related rules. No food or drinks may be brought into the pool area. The Borough and the pool staff reserve the right to open and inspect tote bags and other carry-in containers to ensure compliance.
(1) 
No alcoholic beverages are allowed inside the pool perimeter fence.
(2) 
No glass is allowed inside the pool perimeter fence.
(3) 
No eating, drinking or smoking in the pool or on the deck.
(4) 
All food should be eaten in the enclosed snack area.
R. 
Slide rules.
(1) 
One at a time down the slide.
(2) 
Feet first, face up only.
(3) 
Exit the water immediately after using the slide, no waiting for others.
(4) 
One person per step in line for the slide. The slide line should form down the steps, single file, and curve around behind the slide.
(5) 
All users must be at least 36 inches tall to ride the slide.
Violations of the rules and regulations in § 195-14 shall be cause for the violator to be prohibited from swimming or otherwise enjoying the use of the swimming pool and grounds for a length of time as deemed appropriate by the pool manager, head lifeguard or other authorized lifeguard.

A. 
The Mayor and Police Department, the Code Enforcement Officers of the Borough, the Public Works Department Park and Playground Operator, Swimming Pool Manager and lifeguards, and any other law enforcement officer are empowered to enforce this article.
B. 
Violation of these rules shall constitute an offenders. Offenders shall be subject to a civil penalty not exceeding $600 per violation, as well as total costs and damages to all property and facilities. Each day the violation continues shall be a separate violation. Any persons found guilty of violating this article shall be assessed court costs and reasonable attorney fees incurred by the Borough in the enforcement proceedings.
