General Ordinances]
The Borough property between 105th and 106th
Streets and between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, referred to as Chelsea Place,
has been turned into a park area to be hereinafter designated as Chelsea
Place Park.
The following rules and regulations shall be
applicable to the Chelsea Place Park and it's parking lot:
A.
The use of Chelsea Place Park shall be limited to
the hours of 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. inclusive.
B.
The hours of the parking lot (3rd Avenue side) shall
be limited to between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. inclusive.
C.
The following activities in Chelsea Place Park (including
the parking lot) are prohibited: Picnicking, bringing dogs into the
park, bicycling, skateboarding, hard ball playing (including such
games as golf, baseball, handball, squash, soccer, lacrosse and similar),
and in-ground games such as horse shoes, lawn darts, croquet and similar.
A picnic shall be defined as the eating of food outdoors by two or
more people, who gather in a group and spread their food upon the
ground, a table or some other device or structure in connection with
the consumption thereof.
