The Superintendent of the Town of Denton’s Public Works Department shall adopt standard specifications and details for public works construction within the Town as the Superintendent, in his or her professional judgment, determines are desirable and appropriate for the health, safety and welfare of the Town’s citizens. Such standards shall govern the construction, renovation, and/or replacement of streets, water, sewerage, and storm drainage facilities within the Town limits. The Superintendent shall have the authority to modify the standards and specifications from time to time, as he or she determines is in the public’s interest. A true and accurate copy of the Town’s standard specifications and details for public works construction, as adopted by the Superintendent of Public Works, shall be maintained in the Town Office for public inspection and review.
