The positions of Fire Marshal and Assistant Fire Marshal are hereby
established to enforce the chapters of this Code, ordinances, local laws,
rules and regulations of the Village and laws of the State of New York, or
portions thereof, as hereinafter set forth.
The Fire Marshal and the Assistant Fire Marshal shall serve on the Fire
Prevention Bureau.
A.
The Fire Prevention Bureau, the Fire Marshal and the Assistant Fire Marshal shall be responsible for enforcing Chapter 115, Fire Prevention, of this Code.
B.
The Fire Marshal, as Chairman of the Fire Prevention
Bureau, shall be the enforcement officer for the aforementioned chapter of
the Code and shall perform such other and related duties as may be assigned
to him by the Board of Trustees.
