This chapter is enacted pursuant to the authority of § 150.10
of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York.
The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the Code Enforcement Officer,
Constable, Building Inspector and Deputy Building Inspectors of the Village
of Maybrook to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection with violations
of state statutes, local laws or rules and regulations of the Village of Maybrook.
The Code Enforcement Officer, Constable, Building Inspector and Deputy
Building Inspectors are hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets
with respect to violations of state statutes and local laws of the Village
of Maybrook and rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
An appearance ticket issued pursuant to this chapter shall be served
personally.
A copy of the appearance ticket accompanied by an affidavit of service
shall be delivered to the Village Justice Court Clerk prior to the appearance
date.
