A.
The heightened alert status in our nation and state resulting
from terrorist threats requires flexibility in the immediately deployment
of police resources among municipalities in Orange County.
B.
The Middletown Police Chief or his designee shall have authority
pursuant to § 209-m of the General Municipal Law to send or request
police assistance to and from other police departments in Orange County as
set forth in the Orange County Police Mutual Aid Protocol.
