Each site plan for the proposed construction
of 50 or more units of single-family residential housing shall be
accompanied by a recycling plan, which plan shall include the following
elements:
A. The recycling plan shall specify the types of materials to be source-separated; said specification shall comply with Article
II, Recycling, of Chapter
358, Solid Waste, as amended from time to time.
B. The recycling plan shall provide that each individual
dwelling in the proposed development shall be designed to include
at least one cubic yard of indoor storage area for the accumulation
of recyclable material. The location of said indoor storage area shall
be determined by the developer, subject to the approval of the Municipal
Recycling Coordinator and the Planning Board.
Each site plan for the proposed construction
of 25 or more units of multifamily residential housing, including
but not limited to planned unit residential developments, townhouses,
condominiums, cooperatives or apartment buildings, as the same may
be defined herein, shall be accompanied by a recycling plan, which
plan shall include the following elements:
A. The recycling plan shall specify the types of materials to be source-separated; said specification shall comply with Article
II, Recycling, of Chapter
358, Solid Waste, as amended from time to time.
B. The recycling plan shall provide that each individual
dwelling in the proposed development shall be designed to include

of recyclable material. The location of said indoor storage area shall
be determined by the developer, subject to the approval of the Municipal

C. The recycling plan shall provide for a storage space
in the proposed development to be used for the on-site accumulation
of recyclable materials. Said storage space shall be sufficient in
size to contain recyclables accumulated from individual units during
the time interval between regularly scheduled pickups of recyclable
materials. In determining the appropriate size and design of the storage
space, the developer shall make an assessment of the quantity and
type of recyclable materials which will be generated by the proposed
development. The size, location and structure of said storage space
shall be determined by the developer, subject to the approval of the
Municipal Recycling Coordinator and the Planning Board.

of a commercial or industrial development calling for the utilization
of 1,000 square feet or more of land shall be accompanied by a recycling
plan, which plan shall include the following elements:
A. The recycling plan shall specify the types of materials to be source-separated; said specification shall comply with Article
II, Recycling, of Chapter
358, Solid Waste, as amended from time to time.
B. The recycling plan shall provide for a storage space
in the proposed development to be used for the on-site accumulation
of recyclable materials generated by the development during time intervals
between regularly scheduled pickups of recyclable materials. In determining
the appropriate size and design of the storage space, the developer
shall make an assessment of the quantity and type of recyclable materials
which will be generated by the proposed development. The size, location
and structure of said storage area shall be determined by the developer,
subject to the approval of the Municipal Recycling Coordinator and
Planning Board.
