Any employee or agent of the Town shall have
the right of entry with just cause, at all reasonable hours, upon
any private premises and into any building within the corporate limits
of the Town of New Windsor while in the pursuit of his or her official
duties. The employee or agent shall present proper credentials and
demand entry. If consent to such entry is not given or cannot reasonably
be obtained, the employee or agent shall have recourse to every remedy
provided by law to secure entry. Nothing herein shall preclude entry
during a bona fide emergency, should such entry be necessary.
