No person owning any premises connected with
the sewer system or tenant of such premises shall permit another person
or persons to use or connect with the service line, except upon written
permission from the Town.
Before making any connection to the sewer system a permit must be obtained from the Town, this will be granted upon payment of the tapping fee. The permit will clearly state the names of the persons who will do the work covered by the permit. These persons must be registered in the Town registry of persons permitted to perform work on the sewer system in New Windsor, all as called for in Article
XIX, Registration, of this Part
3. In the case of owners desiring to do their own work, either inside or outside of the homes, they too must be entered on the registry list as doing the work on their own homes only. In this case, the permit must show the name of the owner as the person doing the work.
Upon completion of the work and after the Plumbing
Inspector has accepted the work as conforming to these rules and regulations,
the permit will be endorsed and returned to the owner.
