There is hereby delegated to the Ethics Board as defined herein the responsibility set forth in §
43-17 relating to enforcement procedures. If an allegation or complaint is filed with the office of the Municipal Manager, said Manager shall send notice to the Ethics Board to conduct an investigation into the allegation or complaint, provided that in the event that said complaint shall involve in some manner the office of the Ethics Board, said matter shall be referred to the Municipal Solicitor for investigation, all in accordance with the procedures outlined herein.
