The Board of Commissioners may from time to
time amend this chapter. Amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance shall
become effective only after a public hearing held pursuant to public
notice. In case of an amendment other than that prepared by the Planning
Commission, the Board of Commissioners shall submit each such amendment
to the Planning Commission for recommendations at least 30 days prior
to the date fixed for the public hearing on such amendment. In addition,
each such amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance shall be submitted
to the Beaver County Planning Commission 30 days prior to the scheduled
public hearing for a review and report, together with a fee sufficient
to cover the costs of the review and report, which fee shall be paid
by the person or entity requesting the amendment. The Board of Commissioners
shall not approve an amendment to this chapter until the county report
is received or until the expiration of 30 days from the date the amendment
was forwarded to the county.
