[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of

The following policy is hereby adopted to govern expenditures which
exceed budgeted amounts:
A. Each Commissioner will be notified when he has spent
seventy-five percent (75%) of his budget in any line item.
B. No expenditures shall be made which will exceed one hundred
percent (100%) of a line item budget amount unless one (1) of the two (2)
following conditions are met:
(1) The expenditure is approved by a majority vote of the
Board at a public meeting.
(2) In the event of an emergency, the Commissioner
desiring to make the expenditure shall obtain the verbal approval of three
(3) out of five (5) Commissioners.
