Any person who shall operate a motor vehicle or tractor upon
any of the streets or portions thereof listed above other than in
the direction hereby established for traffic thereon shall, upon conviction
thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $10 and costs
of prosecution and, in default thereof, to undergo imprisonment for
not more than five days.
The purpose of this chapter is to provide regulations establishing
parking meter zones, hours during which the meters are in effect,
charges for meters, penalties for violations of this chapter, and
other regulations concerning the operation of parking meters, in accordance
with the provisions of the Borough Code (53 P.S. § 45101
et seq.).
