The City Controller shall give bond, with sureties
to be approved by the Council, a sum which shall be established from
time to time by the Council, conditioned for the faithful performance
of his official duties, as the same are or may be defined by law or
ordinance.

The City Controller shall receive, as his compensation,
an annual salary, the amount of which shall be established from time
to time by the Council.
