No person, firm or corporation shall keep any
fowl, hogs, pigeons, cattle, horses, goats or sheep within the City
limits of the City of Sunbury.

Any animal kept in violation of this chapter,
as well as any building or structure housing the same, shall be removed
from the City in such a manner as will not violate any federal, state
or municipal law, ordinance or regulation.

In case any animal kept in violation of this chapter, or any building or structure housing the same, is not removed from the City as is required by §
58-3, the Board or Health Officer shall have authority to abate such use or condition in such a manner as is provided by the Third Class City Code for the abatement of public nuisances.

Any person who shall violate any provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a
fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, or 90 days'
imprisonment, or both. The continuation of such violation for each
successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person
or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation
may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.

A. No person, firm or corporation shall keep snakes in
the City, with the exception of in their personal residences, unless
the snake is properly contained in a cage. Said restriction on snakes
is based upon a concern for the safety, health and welfare of the
residents of the City.
B. This section shall be enforced through §§
58-3,
58-4 and
58-5 of the Code of the City of Sunbury.
