The burial or interment of the bodies of human beings at any location within the limits of the Borough of Indiana is hereby prohibited.
The burial of any dog or larger animal at any location within the Borough of Indiana is hereby prohibited, and the burial of any animal smaller than a dog or any bird shall be permitted only if the said dead animal or bird shall be covered with at least three feet of earth.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment thereof, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
