It is declared to be the public policy of this
Village to exercise its authority pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental
Conservation Law (the State Environmental Quality Review Act).
The terms and procedures set forth in Article
8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and the rules and regulations
promulgated thereunder (Part 617 of Title 6 of the New York Codes,
Rules and Regulations) are hereby adopted by reference by this Village,
to be followed in the implementation of Article 8 of the Environmental
Conservation Law, reserving the right to adopt, from time to time,
after public hearing, such additional procedures as may be necessary
for such implementation.
