Editor's Note: Former Art. II, Municipal Court,
was repealed 3-31-2008 by Ord. No. 2008-4, enabling the Township to
enter into an agreement with neighboring municipalities for a shared
municipal court pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2B:12-1 et seq.
Temporary Court Liaison. There is hereby created
the position of Temporary Court Liaison for the Township of Chesterfield,
to assist the Township through the transition period, between the
elimination of the Chesterfield Township Municipal Court and the implementation
of the shared court with the Township of North Hanover and the Borough
of Wrightstown. The Temporary Court Liaison shall present the Township
of Chesterfield with a monthly report of court activities, including,
but not limited to, case load, monetary figures, information regarding
the merger, such as problems or concerns, and other information that
the Temporary Court Liaison believes the Township should be aware
of in the shared municipal court. The Temporary Court Liaison position
is not guaranteed to exist after 2 1/2 years.
