[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]
The Village Board of the Village of Kinderhook hereby declares that Chapter 144 of the Code of the Town of Kinderhook, entitled "Games of Chance," shall be operative within the territorial limits of the Village of Kinderhook.
This chapter shall be subject to a permissive referendum as provided in Article 9 of the Village Law authorizing the issuance of licenses by the Town of Kinderhook for games of chance within the Village.[1]
