A Planning Commission consisting of seven members is hereby created
and established for the Borough of Bradford Woods, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,
pursuant to the provisions of Article II, Section 201, of the Pennsylvania
Municipalities Planning Code, as established by the Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247,
as amended and reenacted.
The Planning Commission shall be comprised of seven members who shall
be appointed for terms of office of four years, except that the terms of office
for the members first appointed shall be so fixed that no more than two shall
be reappointed or replaced during any future calendar year.
The Planning Commission shall have all the powers and duties conferred
and imposed upon it as set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning
Code, established by the Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended
and reenacted.
All of the members of the Planning Commission shall be residents of
the Borough. On all planning commissions appointed pursuant to this chapter,
a certain number of members, designated as “citizen members,”
shall not be officers or employees of the Borough. One member shall be the
member of Council who is responsible for planning. One other member may be
the designee of Council.
