There are hereby established the positions of Deputy City Treasurer and Deputy City Clerk.
Effective January 1, 1994, the fringe benefits of the Clerk/Treasurer as an elected official of the City are hereby fixed as follows: hospitalization insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance and life insurance. Said benefits shall be paid in the same manner as they are paid to general City employees.
The compensation of the Clerk/Treasurer shall be set by the Local Officers' Compensation Commission under Chapter 22, Art. IV. Nothing in this section shall be construed to conflict with the authority granted to the Local Officers' Compensation Commission to establish compensation for elected officials.
