It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally
and knowingly make a false report of a violation of any ordinance
of the City of Monroe to any police officer, firefighter, enforcement
officer or other authorized City official responsible for the enforcement
of said ordinance.
No person shall knowingly furnish to any law
enforcement officer or other official or employee of the City of Monroe,
while acting in the discharge of his or her duties as such, a false,
fictitious or misleading name, address, age or date of birth in connection
with the investigation of the commission of a violation of the ordinances
of the City of Monroe, the laws of the State of Michigan or the laws
of the United States of America.
A violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor, which shall be punishable as provided in §
1-27A of the Code of the City of Monroe.
