Intersections controlled by traffic control signals, as provided in Sections 4.6 and 4.10 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter, are designated by traffic control orders that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council.
One-way streets, as provided in Sections 2.47 and 5.24 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter, are established by traffic control orders that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council.
Certain designated streets, on the days and times designated, are established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, to be restricted to movement of traffic in one direction, as provided in Section 2.48 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter.
Certain designated streets, as established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, are three-lane streets as marked, and the center lane is hereby designated as a left-turn lane only, as provided in Section 5.26(c) of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter.
Left turns shall be prohibited at the intersections
established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the
Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, with traffic
on the first designated street being prohibited from making a left
turn onto the second designated street.
Right turns shall be prohibited at the intersections
established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the
Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, with traffic
on the first designated street being prohibited from making a right
turn onto the second designated street.
Designated intersections and crosswalks adjacent thereto, established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, shall be controlled by special pedestrian control signals as provided in Section 4.9 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter.
Certain designated streets, established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, shall be stop streets and controlled in accordance with Section 5.36 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter. The first designated street shall be a stop street at the intersection of the second designated street or streets.
Certain designated streets, established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, shall be through streets and the traffic therein controlled as provided in Section 2.29 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter.
Certain designated streets, established by traffic control orders, that are recommended by the Traffic Committee and adopted by the Mayor and Council, shall be yield right-of-way streets and shall be controlled in accordance with Section 2.31 of the Uniform Traffic Code, as adopted in Article
II of this chapter. Traffic on the first designated street shall yield the right-of-way to traffic on the second designated street.
Whoever violates any of the provisions of this
article is responsible for a civil infraction and shall be subject
to a civil fine of not more than $100 for each offense.
